The Submersible Antenna is suitable for use
under water for tracing pipes or cables. There
is a weight at the bottom of the antenna for
stability and the unit has been pressure tested
to depth of 100m / 328 ft. The antenna is supplied
with a customer specified length of submersible
marine cable so that the antenna can be carries
by a diver on the river bed and the receiver
is used in the vessel. It is important to have
effective communication between the receiver
and the diver with antenna. Alternatively the
antenna can be fastened to the end of the non
metallic boom from a barge and lowered to the
sea bed.
